An episode of BBC series “Building Sites”

I was asked by the Beeb to be their video consultant (early days) but then we both realised they had very little video equipment outside of simple playback machines – quadruplex etc. So I gravitated into a role of making short projects about interesting buildings with interesting people. The Boots Factory in Nottingham is a vast glass palace built by Owen Williams in 1932. Iwona Blazwick, from London’s ICA, tours the factory which is acknowledged as a masterpiece of early British modernism.
