Mauri, Fabio

Fabio Mauri is one of the masters of post-war Italy. He lived in Bologna and Milan until ’57, then moved to Rome. In 1942 he founded the magazine ‘The Sieve’ with Pier Paolo Pasolini.
He has taught Experimentation Aesthetics for 20 years at the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila. He was invited to the Venice Biennale in 1954, 1974, 1978, 1993, and 2003.
