REWIND has received some major funding to continue our research into the history of European media art. REWIND Yugoslavia is funded by the UK Arts & Humanities Research Council and will investigate video art in the former Yugoslavia, highlighting pioneering activities taking place in the region from 1969-1991. The REWIND Media Preservation Lab will fulfil digitisation of early work allowing work to be researched and re-exhibited. The project is based at Gray’s School of Art, RGU in partnership with Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee and will be led by Dr Jon Blackwood, with Dr Laura Leuzzi and Adam Lockhart as co-leads.
